I'd say this is great strategy by JetBlue. Very clever thinking in tough times in which airlines need to make money from innovative sources - LiveTV being one of them. JetBlue developed the system and tested it on their own planes - giving them first mover advantage. Now, they are licensing this same technology to others and minting money out of it.

This is great for both the brands as well - Continental offers better customer service at low prices, and there is never a mention of LiveTV without JetBlue. Perfect win-win proposition.

Awesome! This will make long haul flights so much more tolerable. Wonder if they will make it a standard on the dreamliner :P
