Passengers flying on Virgin Atlantic Airways in the new year might have to pay close attention, as cabin crews for the airline are set to walk out.
Trade union Unite said its members voted unanimously to walk out at 6 a.m. on Jan. 9 and Jan 16. The pair of 48 hour strikes are over pay. Virgin Atlantic said they are doing everything to ensure flights operate as normal as possible.
Virgin has offered a 8 percent pay increase. The union has called for Virgin to return to the table after they said there would be..."no 11th hour change to our pay offer."
Passengers traveling to and from the UK should keep informed of the situation.
