Will New Yorkers embrace the philosophy of pay for everything?  Skybus is hoping that New Yorkers will embrace the airline as they have announced they will be settling into Stewart International Airport starting early next year. 

Skybus will offer two daily flights to Stewart International Airport, which is 50+ miles north of New York City, from Columbus starting January 6^th and from their newly announced Greensboro, NC hub to New York starting on February 25^th. 

Skybus spokesman Bob Tenenbaum said, “It's a gateway into New York City.” 

Many mid sized markets are courting Skybus.  And recently Skybus received permission to start services to the Bahamas but the airline has not said when they would start service to that destination.
