
Scandinavian Airlines has grounded their fleet of Bombardier Q400’s as again the plane’s landing gear collapsed. The Canadian based airline manufacture are still confident in their aircraft and so are many other airlines as they forge ahead with plans to use the Q400.
But SAS is humming a different tune. Bertil Ternert, SAS spokesman, said yesterday that the airline's Q400s have been plagued with problems since SAS became the launch partner for the aircraft in 2000.
