When disasters like the California Wildfires happen, it is nice to know that some companies out there are stepping up and pledging to help out. 

The Boeing Company (BA), which is the largest private employer in Southern California employing over 28,000 people, will donate $1 million dollars to aid the rebuilding in California.  Also the company will match 50 cents to the dollar of donations to the American Red Cross from current employees and retirees up until November 16. 

The airlines are helping out too; most are allowing passengers flying into and out of Southern California to change their ticket without change fees.

Three major Southern California airports, San Diego, Los Angeles, and John Wayne/ Orange County, are operating as normal.  It is advised you call your airline for status updates.
