 In one of their largest aircraft orders since 1998, British Airways will spilt their aircraft purchases between Boeing and Airbus. BA placed an order for 12 Airbus A380s and 24 Boeing 787s and place further options seven A380s and 18 787s for a total value of $8.2 billion.
