AirTran Expands MKE Network Inspite of Midwest Air

If you can not beat them why not join them?  AirTran Airways which recently ended their year long battle to acquire Midwest Airlines will begin expanding their route network out of MKE.

The airline said it would add one daily flight between Milwaukee, where Midwest Airlines is based and Phoenix starting later this year.  They will also increase their Fort Myers and Tampa routes during the cold season.

All three of these routes are in direct competition with Midwest Airlines.

AirTran should really give it to Midwest and place Oreo cookies on those flights.
