
The "Flying Kangaroo" is sticking around at Qantas. The Australian airline will unveil its newer tail logo tomorrow. The newer design denotes a pointer nose, a less pronounced chest and a larger tail.
The original symbol was adapted from the Australian one-penny coin and was painted on their aircraft in 1944, befiefly disappearing in the middle 80's.
Qantas is not commenting on how much the new paint job is costing but the new design will give some people something to search for when planespotting.
Tomorrow Qantas is expected to unveil their interior A380 cabin designs along with their new international premium economy cabin.
