Happy Birthday Frontier Airlines! 

The airline that began in 1994 with just over half a million dollars and under 200 employees turned 13 years old today and most recently earned “major” carrier status from the Department of Transportation.   

Frontier Airlines continues to expand at a feverous pace; adding new destinations domestically and internationally.  Just two days ago, the airline announced new daily services to three new cities, Rapid City, Sioux City, and Wichita.

"My humble thanks go to this great company's amazing employees for guiding us to our 13th year," said President and CEO Jeff Potter.
