Alaska Air Group Inc., (ALK) the parent company of Alaska Airlines is hiring but only if you speak Spanish.  The predominately west coast carrier is looking to expand their west coast and Mexican destinations. 

The carrier is aggressively recruiting Spanish speakers to help make reservations from its Valley operation in Tempe. 

Spokeswoman Amanda Tobin Bielawski said, "Our goal is to serve customers in their language of choice.  And that means we need to hire more Spanish-speaking employees."

Alaska Airlines is looking to recruit 50 additional bilingual employees to compliment the 20 already working for the airline.  A hiring fair is scheduled for August 2 at the Alaska Airlines center, 737 W. Alameda Drive in Tempe.
