
Do not expect to be served adult beverages on US Airways (LCC) flights in and out of

US Airways is currently applying for a permanent license after the state learned that the airline was flying without one. This came about after an intoxicated passenger killed himself and five others in a highway collision near
New Mexico denied the renewal for two reasons: US Airways has not resolved the citation that resulted from the fatal accident and the state said the carrier delayed the implementation of a program for dispensing alcohol. US Airways has pushed up the alcohol training for their flight attendants, by distributing parts of the state's training program now to flight attendants instead of waiting for a regularly scheduled training this fall.
