When you think of the best frequent flier clubs you may think of United Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, or even Southwest Airlines but not according to the Freddie Awards.
This Denver based airline took home top honors for "program of the year" among airlines in North America. This airline also took home awards for excellent customer service and member communications.
Frontier Airlines (FRNT) has built its frequent flier program around generous redemption policies, top-notch customer service and numerous ways to exchange miles.
EarlyReturns members, Frontier Airline’s frequent flier program, can get a free ticket to most of Frontier's destinations for 15,000 frequent flier miles. The carrier offers limited-time deals on some routes, allowing customers to obtain reward travel for even fewer miles. It also lets members cash in their miles for restaurant certificates, merchandise, tickets to sporting and cultural events and travel packages.
Over 450,000 frequent fliers around the world rated airline reward programs in eight categories. The Freddies are based on how high of marks an airline got instead of how many people voted for the airline. Making small airlines, such as Frontier Airlines, able to compete with the larger, wide spread airlines.
Congrats to Frontier Airlines. Keep up the excellent work. I knew there was a reason I flew you guys.
