UAL Denver. Our P&W trained PW4000 boroscopers have shot down two 777 engines in the last week, only to be overriden by SFO. The first they sent a picture, let it fly. The second an engineer flew out from SFO and let it go for 5 more cycles. Our boro guys are throwing up their hands, why even boro?
Evedently the LEAN team leased out our spare engines. This is getting out of hand to say the least. You never cut corners on maintenance.
