The Airbus A380 Will Land at LAX and JFK on Monday

Is everyone in America ready for this?  The Airbus monster of a plane, the A380 will be landing simultaneously in Los Angeles, Ca; and in New York.

A380 development aircraft MSN7 will fly some 500 passengers to John F. Kennedy International Airport, as part of the Commercial Route Proving jointly performed with Deutsche Lufthansa over a 12 day period. Simultaneously, A380 test aircraft MSN1 will land at Los Angeles International Airport as part of an airport compatibility trial, which will be performed on the spot with the assistance of Qantas Airways.

MSN7 then will fly from JFK to Chicago's O'Hare International Airport and then back to Europe from Chicago.

The tests will encompass airfield manoeuvring, docking at the terminal gate and ground handling services and equipment, including fueling which could be difficult for ground crews as the aircraft is so huge and new to them.

Even though Lufthansa and Qantas will be helping with these tests, first delivery of the A380 goes to Singapore Airlines in October 2007.

Not much time but I have to say why do we continue to act like primitive man. The gods have to be at least smileing. Its ok to have such a plane so big or even bigger but its absolutly ignorant to have so many flights going to the same place so many differant times of the day waisting so much fuel not to meantion the inviromental impact we all talk about. Its time we all get together and think much bigger and stop waisting so much of our earths resources, Think of Southwest airlines ( Dallas )TX for example, 29 or so flights Daily to San Antonio, Austin daily? why dont we think about one or two giant plains and lets adjust our schedule to make the flights work to our advantage. For example we get to the airport of our desination two ,three , or even four hours early the airlins might think about catering to us once we get there, and they can afford this ,as they will save millions of dollars in fuel waisting so much time flying back and forth with half full plains. lets say they get us to our appointment via car service or what ever the case may be, Maybe a free rental car for the day for flying round trip or just whatever the case warrants but lets just think outside the box and stop acting like we are sitting in a traffic jam waiting for someing better to happen. Oppss not to mention we can PROBABLY Make Thease Planes MUCH FASTER, Get real!!we are all going through life in slow motion thanks to all the things we have to wait on and all of financial responsability we have to bare doing what we have do to get done what we have to accomplish daily to provide for our familys. Why not make it easier to be more productive as companys and for ourselfs insted of waiting for the airlins to figure out a way to pay for all the time and fuel that ultimatly we are chareged for.
Not to mention my time writing while thinking of primitive man. I think we can do better!!!
Think outside the BOX MR AIRLINE, I have and I AM still wiating for THE WORLD TO CHANGE !!!!!!!IF we can Save on Paper WE can Save On Fuel. Every time i look up and see a JET AT ABOUT 35 0r 40000 feet crawling across the sky it makes me smile at that those people Knowing they could go a lot faster the 5 or 6 hundred miles an HOUR!!I could go on for hours about this and just about the airlins so for now THINK ABOUT THIS AND SMILE!!!
