Apparently the stress got to US Airways CEO Doug Parker as he was arrested last week on suspicion of drunk driving. According to lab results Parker's blood-alcohol content was 0.096 percent. The legal limit in Arizona is 0.08 percent.
Last week US Airways pulled their nearly $10 billion dollar bid for Delta Air Lines. Parker acknowledged the arrest in a letter to US Airways' 35,000 employees.
“Unfortunately, I was in too much of a hurry and was pulled over for speeding. When asked if I had anything to drink, I answered truthfully that while I believed I was okay to drive, I had consumed some alcohol during the course of the evening,” he wrote.
