ExpressJet released their new cities on their website the other day. They seem to have a nice hold on cities that don't see too much competition on the routes they have selected but will there be enough traffic to support those routes?
I have a feeling that passengers traffic will probably pick up in those markets they are going to be servicing soon. A direct flight from Kansas City to Austin, Jacksonville, New Orleans makes since but a direct flight to Louisville. However, given the option, people might start to make that direct flight instead of making that connection in Denver, Dallas or Chicago.
Their route map seems to be very nice. Mostly focusing on cities south of the center of the country, ExpressJet hopes to provide on-time, safe, reliable, fast service using their fleet of Embraer Jets.
