A milestone today at Boeing. The Boeing Company (BA) delivered their 600th Boeing 777 airplane on Friday to Singapore Airlines. The twin aisle airplane reached the milestone faster than any other twin aisleplane, just after 11 years of production. The delievery of the 777 to Singapore Airlines makes it the 61st 777 in their fleet, the largest in the world, with another 16 on the way.
The 777 family of airplanes is the market leader in the 300-to-400-seat segment, consistently capturing more than 60 percent of that market since the airplane was launched. To date, Boeing has sold 889 777 planes to over 49 airline companies around the world.

Umm.... the 777 is a widebody plane, not a single aisle.
