Your Favorite Airplane Pt. 2
Since I got a few comments on people's least favorite plane, it's only fair to ask what is their most desirable plane.  It doesn't matter type of service, domestic, international, domestic airline or international airline, first, business, or economy.  What aircraft makes your list at the top.

I personally prefer the 777-200 on United and Air New Zealand.  The economy plus and the Pacific Premium class of service with those extra inches of leg room make the ride even nicer.  But the back to the plane itself.
051027g1.jpgI like the overheads a lot.  The layout of the plane is quite nice too.  The seats are some of the more comfortable ones I have sat in, even in economy.

However, I am a big fan of the work horse of the industry too.  The Boeing 737 model.  (The next generation though)  Obviously you can't go wrong with a plane that has sold numbers reaching over 5,000 sold and counting.

So what's your favorite plane?  Does it make it your favorite because of the things it offers, the layout, the size, the comfort?  What makes it your favorite?

again, in my experience, the United 777-200 is the best ride i've experienced, albeit it was the high-density domestic version (SFO-HNL), and i was in econ plus. I particularly liked the airy feeling of the cabin, so different from my outbound leg a week earlier on a United B763 (HNL-DEN) the legroom was a nice touch, and IMHO, service on United is tops.

When I was a commuting stew, any plane that had a seat for my was my favorite! Now that I'm a civilian, I love BA's 747s in World Traveller Plus, and any widebody with two on the side seating. Leg room and civilised seat-mates are the main thing for me.

So far the best flight experiences I've had have been on the A330 for the NW flight from Seattle to Amsterdam. Not only is the leg room spacious, but the screens in the headrests are a huge plus when enduring through 10 hour flights. A huge improvement over the DC-10.
