At 8:46:30 a.m. eastern time, American Airlines flight 11 slammed into the North Tower. The aircraft, a Boeing 767-223 widebody aircraft, departed from Boston bound for Los Angeles, was loaded full of fuel. Seven-one passengers and eleven crew members were on board that flight.
