Glenn Tilton joined the airline as the CEO just months before they filed for bankruptcy protection in December of 2002. He has seen them through the entire process and saw them exit in February 2006. While seeing United through the bankruptcy process he has in-turned slashed salaries and benefits for the employees.
He continues to stir up rumors by talking about consolidation in the industry. Most recently he has stirred up rumors of merger talk when he was questioned in about the industry. Tilton has turned around the company by marketing United Airlines as a premium economy airline but at what cost? Are the employees going to be happy about this? Let me know what you think.
