Has anyone thought of clearing the food concession stands, etc., beyond the security gates?! What is the point of taking all liquids up to the security checkpoint? As soon as you clear you can purchase whatever the hell you like and board a flight? This is insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent point. I think this policy was put in place at the last min., I don't believe the TSA had prior notice of the operations that the UK and US governments were watching in London.

A friend of mine was on his way to Amsterdam, was told to put cell phone in checked luggage.

It will be interesting to see what events transpire in the next few days.
