Virgin Blue spokeswoman Amanda Bolger said flight DJ154 was 15 minutes out from Sydney when the company received a phone call to one of its call centres. The Australian Federal Police will investigate whether the call had been routed through the Philippines.

What are people thinking? Fines should be tripled, jail time should be tripled, and they should be banned from ever flying any airline again. These people do not deserve to be apart of our air system. If they can not conform to societies standards of safety, they should not be allowed to use our air system. Safety is the number on e priority of the airlines and these sorts of scares send shock waves through the system forcing undo fear into people and hurting the industry.
