Second quarter operating revenue was up to $3.2 billion compared to $845 million last year.
The airline, which is Pittsburgh International Airport's dominant carrier, said its results are being compared to America West's standalone results for the second quarter of 2005.
America West acquired US Airways Group in September 2005 and became a wholly owned subsidiary of the new US Airways Group.
