SunCountry Airlines, which is based in St. Paul, Minnesota, reported today that investors have agreed to sell the company to Petters Aviation and Whitebox Advisors for an unreported amount.  The process will take a few months to complete but will allow for the airline continue with their conservative expansion plans. 

Shaun Nugent, CEO of Sun Country Airlines said, "This sale will allow us to continue to develop our strong consumer offering, as well as provide necessary capital for future business growth.  Today our passengers and employees can share in the news of a positive future for our airline."
