Republic Airways Sees 52% Increase in Traffic
As airlines shifted a majority of their regional operations to the smaller carriers, they gave rise to airlines that could actually make money and continue to expand their operations.  Republic Airways which owns Chautauqua Airlines, Republic Airlines and Shuttle America, reported a 52% increase in traffic for the month of May.  These numbers continue to show that the airline industry is recovering but some carriers continue to lag behind.
