NWA Resumes MSP-LGW Daily Service

Northwest Airlines is resuming services daily services between London and Minneapolis. They are hoping that the summer season will help improve their numbers. The flight had been removed from the daily schedule as the winter months are relatively slow for the MSP-London route. Northwest will be operating their DC10-30 aircraft with a two class section; World Business Class and Coach.

Northwest Airlines resumes daily nonstop service between the Twin Cities and London Friday.

Flight 44 is scheduled to leave Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport at 6:45 p.m. Friday and arrive at London's Gatwick Airport at 8:55 a.m. Saturday.

The first return flight from London to the Twin Cities leaves London at 12:05 p.m. Saturday and is scheduled to arrive in the Twin Cities at 3:05 p.m. Saturday.

The service had been suspended temporarily since Oct. 30 for the lower-demand winter season due to high fuel costs.

Northwest says going forward it plans to offer service between the Twin Cities and London all year.
