
"We have now moved forward into an era where the number of people wanting to do business by calling a small call center have reduced," Sealy said, noting more people prefer to buy plane tickets online.
About 10 BA employees working in the region were offered severance packages and can apply for job openings with the company, Sealy said.
The call centers in Antigua and St. Lucia have ticketing offices, which also will close on June 30. The call center services will be consolidated into the carrier's North American call center in Jacksonville, Florida, Sealy said.
The closure will not affect BA flights to the Caribbean.
The carrier has also closed call centers in Glasgow, Scotland, London and Toronto.
